Prescription for Rhythm (12 traks) "Learn as you
go," is how Bobbie describes his tenure with the Rhythm Boys. These
disks chronicle Bobbie's foray into the jazz/swing/blues idioms as
vocalist, guitarist and co-producer. From Louis Prima to Lenny Welch to
Chuck Berry, they can all be found in these two collections from the
"swingmiesters" themselves. |

Mark Gamsjager Rocks & The Lustre Kings
Roll The freshman effort by one of the east coast's most well-travelled rock-a-billy bands prompted guitarist/vocalist Gamsjager to call Bobbie for a real hands-on approach to the production of the artist's performances on this disk. Aside from producing, Bobbie also played guitar, six-string bass and lent vocal talent to this disk (some listed, some not). Bobbie was also involved in the sophomore release by The Lustre Kings, Once a King, Always a King. |

Ain't Misbehavin': This sophomore effort from one of upstate New York's premier jazz vocalists, laced with jazz standards and pop ballads, is interspersed with funk, fusion, and Latin grooves. It features producer John Nazarenko (piano), Bob Halek (drums), Cliff Lyons (sax), and Bob Van Detta (bass). Guest vocal appearances by (mom) Helen Pratt. |

Warpaint: (Then) collaborators, producer Kevin Bartlett and Happy Rhodes approached Bobbie to make a guest appearance as the only live bassist on this disk (an honor, of course). Bobbie plays fretless on the title trak. Visit Happy's site... take a listen and see how many genres this artist might fit into. |

Beneath the apocalyptic rain: Something for the alternative spirit out there: written by Tim Livingston and arranged by Bobbie Van Detta. The purpose of this CD was to communicate Tim's vision of life in a world without rules during a future of which prophets have spoken and generations have wondered. The forms from which these "apocalyptic" anthems originated were so skeletal that Bobbie had free reign in creating the textures which characterize each brooding selection. Bobbie played all guitars, fretted and fretless bass, and all background vocals. |
